Well, its finally here: The Episode III: Revenge of the Sith trailer. I know I am unreasonably hopeful that movie will be good, but I think it looks awesome. Based on only what I see, I get the sense that this will be dramatically, the most well done of the new movies.
Is it me or does the Emperor look pretty scary? The one hang-up I have, however, is that even if this were to be a really well done movie, how much will we really be able to enjoy it considering virtually all the heroes die and the bad guys win? I don't want to watch Mace Windu and all the other Jedi bite it without some redepmption. Yeah, yeah I know -- that's what the original trilogy is all about. I just hate watching the bad guys win. I hope they find a way to insert some sort of redemptive element that resonates within the movie.

Yeah, I gotta say the trailer is pure evil. It has managed to make me forget about the lame table-rotation scene and all of the other ways in which this movie could go terribly, terribly wrong. But alas, Lucas has once again pulled the wool over my eyes and I am deeply under his spell; in fact, I'm thinking about mailing him a check for $10 just to watch the free trailer again...
we got our phone books yesterday . . .
